Name of company/service: idea cellular

I received some SMS on my mobile number 8223899470 which i shortly i recieve an sms from IZ-ideaCMS that i have charged 49 rupees for downloading some videos from XINLABS. My Mobile was connected idle to edge service and I have not done any surfing nor downloaded any videos from the so calledservice.
I havn’t subscribe that kind of
service in past. I tried
lodging a complaint at idea
customer care but executive denied
registering the complaint as according to
him I have downloaded videos hence the
charge.
and then I searched on google I found
lots of people got that problem too. service from that side in past.

    I am also a idea prepaid cellular customer. yesterday I had the same message that Rs 5 had been deducted from my account from IZ idea CMS because it said i downloaded videos from XINLABs. i called customer service and said i did not. their answer sounded like i was the culprit . Then they said to call after 4 Hrs. I do not understand what is going on. I have been using mobile not the last 10 Years and never had i such an experience from other service providers. – PRAVEEN M No 9895571182.

    Sir today i got a recharge of rs30 on my mobile phone.soon at2:48 I received a messge that I have downloded a video from xinlab an rs30 have been deducted.
    The video has not been shown in my mobile.
    Sir i want my money back plz.

    I also recieved a mssg from idea.that 50 rupees were
    deducted for downloading vedios from XINLABS.but i have’nt downloaded any vedios…eventhough my data plan was also activate…sir,i request u to help me in getting back my money…my phone no. is +919767804401

    I also faced the same problem and I request if Idea uses wrong means of earning money they will surely be in loss

    I have collected some important points…
    * Balance is deducted at times when actually we are leaving the phone idle i.e. not downloading any thing or even surfing.
    * Balance deduction is not fixed it can be any amount. ofcourse less than your current balance. This is proved by different charges I have obsereved in different blogs I have seen.
    * Most important if you use 3g you are automatically subscribed to diffrent VAS services. as they hide links you automatically click while surfing.

    I have no Idea that why Idea is using such unfair means.

    and in 3 days I have been charged
    30,30,30,15,49
    total 154 rupees

    I just want to ask one question why would a person who has this much of sense that he is capable of using so advance technologies like HSDPA, 3G, or Edge would need to download video by paying charges.

    Also do they have answer to my small question

    Why you subscribe us without having confirmation even a single transaction from any bank which saves our money takes a long, and asks for confirmation also gives complete information about the transactions.
    Is it not our money which is in our balance?
    if its not please before doing anything remove INR from our balance when we check our balance.
    Because if you save some ones INR you are requested to use it with the permission of its owner.

    My number is 9850749867 and Rs 49 was also deducted from my account in the name of downloading videos from Xinlabs. I was sleeping and the phone was obviously idle because I was alone. I called idea and their people were rude and kept saying I visited that website. I want my money back. This is definitely a scam from idea and we should go to the consumer courts to take action agsinst these cheaters.

    Sir today i m faced the same problem that idea reduce my balance of r s99 and when i call to coustmer care no. They reply me that u downloading the video
    But i not downlod the videos. Plz help me .

    I hve faced the same problem.I got a message from idea saying that thank you for downloading Videos from XINLabs you have been charged Rs99.
    I spoke to customer care but they sticked to one word “Non-refundable”.I donno who will make a payment of 99 and download videos in these days.its a cheap business trick of idea.
    Please take necessary action and resolve these issues.

    we have not download any kind of video from xinab fnurther when i complaint to customer care he can not reply for the same it means tht idea also add the money in fraud way so pls registered my comllaint and refund my deducted money rs99 and my mobile no. 9891225940

    idea deducted rs 99on the same xinnlab issue for 6times…..on my last bill they allotted this 99 rs under wap charges…..i complained thrice to idea kerala appellate, customer care etc…..but no use,they’ll just say, refund is not possible and you have to check your device for any apid downloads from some wedsites, or device settings must have changed etc…….am an android developer and their answer is totally idiotic…….some days before i ported to vodafone, and i think till now there’s no issue……

    I read all above post, as I also suffering from this sort of cheating by Idea.

    But unfortunately I didn’t find any solution how to stop this.

    In this month, two time I got this message “Dear customer,thank you for downloading videos from xinlabs. You have been charged rs. 99.” And tried to resolve this matter with customer care. But they are not ready to listen us. I am corporate user and using idea serivce from more then 10 years. Now I think we have to switch to another mobile network. I think that is the only solution we have. So if idea Management is reading this then pls stop this sort of act, it will spoil your brand image.

    Today my mobile currency has been charged 100rs for no reason its same
    Xin labs it says for some video download which i never down loaded. Idea cellular is fraud company. I have been using idea since 6years from but never experienced such a thing thinking of changing service provider

    WHAT IS XINLAB !!!! everyone is effected with this matter, I too have been effected with this unfair charge. I request Idea Cellular to block this XINLAB. I am ready to pay Rs.99 if i have downloaded any such content. As i have not downloaded any such content from XINLAB I will not pay this amount. Request Idea cellular to instantly reverse this amount.

    What the hell is going with idea cellular,they are deducting the balance without involvement of customer.. today I received a sms that “thanks for downloading videos from the xinlab” and they deducted 49rs . How it’s possible because I didn’t use internet. This is a fraud and should be stopped. I need my money back.

    Yesterday, I received two messages from Idea stating that ‘thank you for downloading videos from XINLABS. you have been charged Rs 49″ and then again the same message of Rs 30 so the sum of Rs 79 has been deducted from my phone balance. It should not have been deducted as I have not downloaded any such content from XINLAB .

I hv charged 240 /- rs from 5th April to 18 April at different unwanted services. Do you think that I can waste 100/- to download sonam kapoor from tech zone.     yesterday i got a message to my idea cellular that i charged with 99 /- and 60/-
    for xinlab videos. but i didnt download any kind of videos from any website .
    and i complaint to customer care but they gave a irresponsible answer.
    so i think this is waste of time and money.

    finally i decided to change my service provider by using mobile portability
    good bye the irresponsible idea network

    I received the same bugging SMS twice. Funny part it always came at 1.30 am . I am thinking of registered case legally in court.
    I can hire lawyer who can take them down.
    If you guys want to join me and send a email at my address I can attach with my case and that will help me to win this case.
    If anyone feels like cheated as me and hurt by their fraud idea pls send me email.
