We purchased wallpapers from Furnest Decor on 17th September, 2017. The company person came to paste it. After he did, it was found that half of it was discolored with huge black spots. It was either a manufacturing defect or we are guessing that he used excessive gum and pasted wrongly resulting in this. We spoke to the shop owner and he said that he will get it fixed after the festive season (Durga puja). When we contacted after that, he didn’t even bother taking a look or listening to our complaints. Instead he directly mentioned that there is a damp in our wall. We have been living here for 15 years and our house was recently painted and even the painters didn’t complain about a damp. Plus, a damp means the whole wall would be damaged whereas here only bits and pieces in the wallpaper was damaged. This was an irresponsible attitude of the shop towards us and a way to escape from incurring a cost. Please help us address the issue.
