VOLTAS SALE AND SERVICE IS THE WORST IN THE WORLD. NEVER BUY A VOLTAS AC OR PRODUCT.

I bought a 1.5 Voltas Split AC last year brushing aside the warning from my friends that there customer service is pathetic. I moved house and called the Voltas customer care in advance lodging a compliant for installing the split AC (Vertis Gold) in the last week of May 2012. It was to be installed at NOIDA on June 2 as we moved house on June 1. However the AC could not be installed inspite of calling the customer care a hundred times for fixing it. Finally I had to get it installed privately and the customer care called me after 6 days shamelessly to find out whether we need their services.
My verdict: VOLTAS SALE AND SERVICE IS THE WORST IN THE WORLD. NEVER BUY A VOLTAS AC OR PRODUCT.
Take my ADVICE as a caution and REFRAIN from buying a TATA product or you will run from pillar to post and no one would help you if you case of need
TATA products are third grade is best testified by the INDICA cabs polluting the environment with its black fumes and its low floor buses stranded on Delhi roads most of the time because of some kind of break down. It is time we Indians boycott their products and say Tata to them in the literal sense of the word.
