Very very poor service – High charge, no electricity, basic ammenities in the room.

I and my husband visited Goa, India in the month of June. The booking was from the ‘COUNTRY CLUB INDIA LTD.’ side, as we hold a life time ‘Club Membership’.
The resort that, we were allotted our stay is ‘Royale Assagao – GOA’.
While checking in, there were no escorts to take the luggage.
The bigger disappointment was in the room. The basic amenities, like a mirror, a dressing closet, are not provided in the room. Worst to worst case, there was no electricity in the room, as in, the electricity used to be only there for half an hour and used to go off for two to three hours. We had to stay long times during the days and the night, without any electricity. When we asked about the ‘back up system’, the hotel authority were reluctant enough to say that, that is the situation that happens all the time, in that area, and they DONOT have any kind of any ‘back up system’, to solve this problem.
I further would like to mention that the charges, in this resort are quite good, but the experience was not all up to the tariff of the resort. The experience was very very very bad, and this is a serious case of consumer misguiding. We were there just to spend a good time, which was a very tough job after the problems we faced in the resort.
