Name of company/service: BeeTel / Universal Computers
Sir, I have purchased a BeeTel UPS Saviour 700 form M/S Universal Computers, Shop No. 1, Tandon Gali, Near L.I.C., Kutchery Road, AJMER-305001, on 27-11-2010 vide Bill No. 1197 dated 27-11-2010 for Rs.1350/- on cash payment. The UPS carries two year warranty and one year warranty for battery.
It stop working in the first week of July-2011, hence I contacted the seller and handed over the UPS on 09-07-2011. The seller said that it will be sent to the company for replacement. I have contacted several times personally/ over phone but always replied that the UPS has still not received from company.
In the last week of Sept-2011, the proprietor said that if the UPS not received within four days I will supply another UPS to you, but when I contacted on 04-10-2011, He said that the company refused for replacement, stating that the UPS was physically damaged and supplied a photo copy of service engineer’s report. Today when I contacted to service engineer it came to notice that it is not a service center of BeeTel. The seller sent the UPS to a private party instead of sending it to the Company (BeeTel).
Your intervention is solicited in this matter please.
Kindly help in this matter for replacing the UPS from the company at the earliest.
