Name of company/service: Sony Ericsson
I am a user of Sony Ericsson Mobile handset, Model- U8i. The touchscreen went non-working on May 2nd 2012 and since my handset is under warranty until 23rd July 2012, i submitted my handset on May 9th 2012 to the Sony Ericsson Auth Service centre in Chandigarh. Rai & Sons, SCO- 60, sector- 47C, under the workorder# SE31289210964. They gave me time period of 10-12 days for complete repairs done. When i called them for repair status on May 22nd 2012, they told me that H.set is still not repaired due to parts not in stock. I called the SE(sony ericsson) helpline on 180030002800 as insisted my the service centre head Mr. Satbir and filed a complaint under cimplaint# SES125004569. SE helpline committed the delivery date of my handset after complete repairs as May 31st at any cost. And they added that the part is in transit and will reach the service centre soon. I was convinced. But when called them on May 31st, they say that the part couldnt reach Chandigarh due to “Bharat Band”. but will be able to deliver my H.set on 1st or 2nd June for sure.
But they failed to do so. calling them again on 1st june lead me to the true information that the part they were referring to, that was in transit was not the reality but the false scene created to convince me. Hence they still dont have this part in stock. SE lied to me every time i contacted them, causing lot of hasstle and incovenience to me. Therefore i want SE to replace my handset with he latest H.set in market so that i donot face any such troubles in future getting my mobile repaired. Also SE should compensate me for the inconvenience caused for past 30 daYs and carried so on. Please register the complaint and do the needfull.
