Threatening from the agency of Idea Cellular Company

Sir,

I am Tinu using a mobile number 9809074734 in Kerala, was a post-paid customer with Idea Cellular, which I ported to Aircel. My bill date is 15th of every month.
My number ported to Aircel on 13th of June and on 15th June I received my idea bill to my email. On 22nd I received a Legal letter dated 16th June from
K.M.JAMALUDHEEN & ASSOCIATES stating I have not paid my bill within in due date . My due date was 30th June. When I called to the number in legal letter the response was
they don’t bother about due date, if they have sent the legal letter you will have to pay the bill with 750/- as legal fee or they will proceed with further legal actions.

I then visited the IDEA office at Sreekaryam,Thiruvanathapuram to show them the legal letter thinking it might have been sent wrongly. But when I inquired about this the executive
said it is sent to all customers who have ported out to other network and they don’t check the due date for such customer’s. I inquired then about their higher official details like nodal
officers or customer care managers number which they refused to give.

After one month of the incident from the last two days I am getting calls from some collection agent ( mobile number : 9847012845) threatening and forcing me to make the payment
irrespective of the issues faced by me. He took the details of my calls and also the details of my friends whom I have called. Then he started to call the numbers(My friend’s numbers) which I have called and told them to ask me to pay the bill and also told if I don’t pay the bill the case will be charged against me and my friends.
He started to call my friend’s friend and threatened them .

I don’t have any issue in making the payment, but when i contacted the concerned people of idea the response was very bad and infact I tried to get Nodal officers number from Idea website which is in switched off mode. Already it was disgraceful when I received legal notice with out my fault and knowledge and lack of responsiveness from the concerns to resolve my issue.

Hence I would request you to take neccessary action
