Name of company/service: Fast Track Call Taxi, Coimbatore
I was travelling from Coimbatore to Chennai on 15.07.12 by train west coast express. The train was schduled depart from coimbatore at 6.25 am. I have been staying in Sakthi Gardens, Cheran Managar, Coimbatore. 12 kms away from railway station, and there is not much auto riksha service not call taxi service. Hence i booked Fast track Call taxi in the phone no 0422 2888999, previous day evening ie., on 14.07.2012 for my travel on 15.07.12 early morning 5.15 am. I got the reply as “booking no-123 Date/Time- 15/07/12/ 5.00 pay per meter etc.” The next day I woke up by 4.00 am, got ready and called the cabs (fast Track) by 5.00 in the morning to ensure whether they made arrangement for the cab. The person in charge told they have already sent a cab. But actually not. made calls again by 5.15 am, 5.25 am, number of calls till 5.45. The reply was auto generated one and said ” please register your complaint, the number is busy”. In early I don’t think the number could be busy so long, when I could call them in the previous day evening in one attempt. As I told this was a suburban area no taxi/ cab or bus facilities available. I have been accompanied by my 68 year old mother, my train time is 6.25 you can imagine my position. Then I took a bus and got down in the next stop and searched for cabs/ auto and finally took a cab and reached railway station by 6.15 in the morning. I received message from them at 6.01 am stating that “veh.ID615. Drv.Mob.No. 7667707069. On the way for U.” Later the driver called me, when I reached station. When I asked him when he is supposed to come, he said he doesn’t know. I don’t understand the why the booked my request and why they have not sent a cab, in spite of calls and an irresponsible reply from the Driver. They don’t deserve to run such kind of Business. And my humble request is stringent action is required so that they should not indulge in such kinds of attitude with other customers.
