I am Kishore , have been a customer of Vodafone for a long time. Recently I moved from Calcutta to Mumbai and due to some reasons my sim got blocked. (no. 9874438199). I have been trying to get it unblocked since 3weeks. On 05/06/12 I took time off my office hours and visited the Lower Parel Vodafone store. Ms Priti attended me and told me that the sim card for the series was not available at their store and directed me to Byculla Vodafone store. I visited the Byculla Vodafone store the same day in the evening. I filled up the form submitted my old sim and received a new sim. I was assured that the new sim would be activated within 6 hours. However, it has not yet been activated.
I again visited the Lower parel store on Thursday (07/06/12) for the follow up. Mr. Smith attended me this time. He called up Byculla store had a chat with the person sitting in Byculla office and further assured me that the sim would be activated in half an hour. He refused to give me the contact number of the Byculla ofiice. I managed to get Mr. Smith’s number to further follow up. The next day, Friday (08/06/12) I called him up and he told me that the sim is activated but it was not. Since then he is not picking my call.
I have repeatedly lodged a complaint on the vodafone website and also via mail. but unfortunately have not yet received a solution.
I am deeply annoyed by the experience. Please help me get my sim activated. I have now been not reachable for over 3 weeks.
