Hi I had purchased the toshiba C600 laptop Sr.no 5B237666Q in Aug 2011. my laptop started to make small noise while unfolding it, so i precautionary logged the call with toshiba (Call ID : 030112-19). Without even attending the call i got update from service centre that the issue is with Hinges of laptop and that same is not covered under warranty. i kept on follwing up with toshiba regarding the same that how can they without even attending the call say that it is hinges issue and close the call. finnaly engg of reverse logistic( toshiba service provider) attended the call only after around 12 days and due to this delay till the engg attended the call the complete hinge of the laptop had got damaged, if they would have attended call on time this could have been prevented, i was told to get the complete top and base cover replaced and new call was logged for it (call id : 031512-89) and i was given quotation on 27.03.2012 and advance payment was done on 10.04.2012. As per Quotation the lead time for spare delivery was 25 to 30 days, but now it has been more than 60 days i have been following up with toshiba and reverse logistics but have not got any solution, they have static reply that they have not got spare from toshiba and when i put mail to toshiba customer care they reply that they are following up with corncern team but no result. due to this delayed service i already had to bear cost for the top and base cover and even after advance payment still there is no solution and the same poor service and irresponsible attitude from toshiba and reverse logistics. Please help me as the laptop condition is getting worse and i fear if any addtional damage happens to laptop due to delay from toshiba they will agin make mr suffer losses
