serial number of my samsung chat gt-c322 is missing

sir,
i have a samsung mbl phone which i purchased on 29 june 2011….it was working in a gud manner bt in may 2012 it suffered from many prblms…..so when i went to service centre regarding dis matter….they said that my mbl will nt b acceptable nder warranty because serial nmber inside the mbl is missing……so i hav to pay money for service. But i hv still20 days left for the service…..and sir it is not the customer fault if serial nuumber is missing. Smsung company is respossible for this…so want to file a complain against the samsung….that they hav provided me a defected mbl set….so in any case i want my mobile perfect…..sir plz help me as soon as possible coz i have very less tym left regarding warranty date…..it is expiring on 29 june 2012.

    If the serial number is missing under the battery cover, press *#06# from your keypad, and the serial number (IMEI) will show up.

    not the battery…serial number of my mobile is missing

    Not the battery, the portion of the mobile below the battery.

    Or else press *#06# on the screen using your keypad. The serial number will show up on the screen, make a note of it.

    sir imei number is not required…..serial number is required……n ur help is not working wat else i do….n how can i contact to consumerforum

    Do you have the original bill/receipt for the purchase?
