I have taken an educational loan from State Bank of India, Iringalakkuda branch in 2006. That was sanctioned in order to pay towards my fees for Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering which I have done from Anna University, Chennai. Now, its been 2 years that I have got my graduation with first class. But, unfortunately as I was out from the college i was struggling to get a job for the first one year and I was compelled to join in a hospital as trainee (without salary). After that I was managed to get a job in an MNC and for the last one year I a working the same company. Actually, just a few days before only i got confirmation of job in this company.
But, what happened is that the bank send me a demand notice to pay the total amount remaining (4,25,596 INR) through a lawyer within the next 7 days. Already I have paid around a lakh rupees towards the loan, but still the amount is this much high and they have calculated this like a normal personal loan it seems. Above all, my mother and father is constantly getting teased (he have used very bad words several times) by the bank manager of SBI, Iringalakkuda branch. So I would be very much thankful to you, If you could make a fair decision towards this case.
