Name of company/service: Samsung

I have purchased Samsung Galaxcy SII mobile on 4-9-2011 (IMEI no. 358848049247570). Suddenly mobile stopped working, then I have gone to Service Center. They said the mobile motherboard is damaged because of moisture and now you have to pay 9600 for repairing as such a defect is not included in warranty list.
Why am I being charged money when warranty is there.
