I have purchased a Samsung AC (model No. AS182SGD) on 6th June 2012. It was installed on 8th June 2012. Since day of installation I am facing voltage related problem with this machine. Most of the compressor of the AC has been tripped during switch ON condition. Instead of cold air, hot air is coming out from the AC for an hour. So that after switch on the AC the room is getting hot within 15 minutes.
The authorized service engineer of M/s Samsung has explained that the voltage fluctuation of CESC (Calcutta Electric Supply Corp.) is only the root cause of the problem. They suggested that the dedicated voltage stabilizer have to be used to rectify this problem.
However I have installed a voltage stabilizer (with digital display) dedicated for AC. Presently I have observed that when the AC is switch ON the supply voltage is abruptly fluctuated. I have already checked the internal wiring for the AC but it is found as OK. It seems that the compressor unit is consuming more voltage than the normal. I would like to inform you that my neighbors are using the Samsung AC since last 3-4 months but they did face such type of problem.
I am very much depressed to use this AC for a week. I request to replace my machine within a this week.
