I am privilege customer of HDFC Bank since 2004. On that basis they opened my HDFC securities account without any charges in 2009 & I was told it would be no annual charge lifetime free account. I haven’t used that account for any transaction. But in Feb 2012, Rs. 500/- were deducted from my account for annual charges. And when i went HDFC Bank, CMH Road, indira Nagar, Bangalore. They refused to close my account on the basis of ID proof. Despite the fact that i had DL. But as per him it wasn’t authenticated.
They agreed on sending a person for collecting another ID proof. But nobody came.
First i was robbed with money & i dont know, how many times i have to visit the branch for closure of account. I want my money to be refunded as i have never used that account.
