Refusal to my request to deactivate

I have a strong complaint about the terrible service from Airtel where I have repeatedly requested them to disconnect a dongle which I had purchased for my travels last year. I am continuously being charged every month and am continuously requesting them to disconnect my service since I no longer need it but each time they are promising me that it will be done in seven days minimum but only after the bill is paid. Once I pay the bill, they refuse to disconnect the service and provide me with another bill next month. Am absolutely fed up. I once again recieved the latest bill for rs 942 and spoke to an airtel agent called Manish who insisted that I would get information about why I am continuously being charged only after I clear my bill ( As usual ). I attempted to explain to him that I had the same conversation with another agent last month who promised to disconnect my dongle and did not do so after I had cleared the bill. On 22nd May, the agent Manish, quoted a complaint number to me 85424215, but insisted that only after the current bill is cleared will the deactivation/disconnection happen. This is the second time this has happened and I am furious at what I see as extortion and blackmail since the agent very rudely told me that if I do not pay up, I would get no further service from either airtel or another telecom service provider. Its almost as if once you get into their net, there is no escape for the consumer. This is the last time I ever buy anything from airtel. EVER.
