REDBUS / CITIZEN Travels Indore – Amount not refunded – Worst Experience

I have booked a ticket from www.redbus.in on 24th January. Below are the details of travel –
Operator – Citizen Travels Indore
Traveller – My Sister
Date of travel – 25th January
Time 19:15
Pune to Indore
Seat – 3 (Single sleeper (Side lower))

However, there were cheaper seats availble (in sharing – double bearth) in other buses on travelyaari.com but sadly I chosed redbus. Also, the seat which I have booked throuhg redbus was already showing booked on travelyaari still I trusted redbus. Till this time everything seems to be good and my sister was really excited for the travel.
Since she is not at all comfortable in sharing the bearth thus I have to book single sleeper on a higher price.

The pain started at the day of travel when I came to know that –
I) Bus was of Hyderabad – Pune route and because of long weekend ad higher prices of tickets the bus was first time running on Pune – Indore route.
II) Seat no. 3 (Single lower) was being allocated to somebody else saying yours seat on ticket is A3 which is in sharing, I said that at the time of booking from website I have selected a single seat, it’s not my fault that you have changed the numbering at the time of chart booking.

By this time I was clear with many questions that I was having –
Why the seat was showing booked on travelyaari
Why the seat has got changed overnight, because of hyderabad bus(these buses have different numbering)

Anyways, I called customer care of redbus informed the whole incident and after 15 mins the customer care executive agreed that sir something wrong has happened from operators side (Citizen travels Indore).

Since the journey was important we planned to travel as the customer care executive also commited that we would refund some amount as it was a mistake from redbus or operators end. He assured me that my complaint would be solved in next 48 hours.

Next day, I got to know from my sister that the driver was driving for the first time to this route and in morning instead of dropping her to listed dropping point he dropped her to a different & only dropping point.

It has been around 15-20 days but I have not recieved any call or mail from redbus. Also, I am wasting my mobile’s balance and precious time in calling redbus but no luck yet. Everytime they give a false commitment that I would recieve a call but I never do get. It feels as if I am getting a mental harrasment from redbus.

It’s not abot money, it’s about the mental harrasment which I have faced in last days since I am wasting my time & money and the bus operator/redbus are not at all concerened about the issue.

If your near and dear ones are travelling alone then I appeal everyone that please think twice before booking a ticket from redbus or Citizen travels Indore.
