Sub. Refused, denied and forfeited of two months MIS interest
by the Postmaster Bhatpara Post Office request payment of
Ref. 1) MIS Account No.2311773468 , assured EMI of Rs.1334.00
2) My application to Postmaster Bhatpara dated 29.01.2016
3) Reply of Postmaster Bhatpara dated 29.01.2016
4) My written representation dated 11.02.2016
Sir,
With due honor I lay before you the following facts for your kind intervention to investigate what type
of racket is going on at Bhatpara Post Office with the leadership of Postmaster to withdraw money
by forgery of signature on withdrawal Slip
a) As per above Ref. 1) MIS I have withdrawn monthly interest of Rs.1334.00 on 16.10.2015
b) Due to some unavoidable circumstances I could not draw my Monthly interest during the
month of Nov.and Dec.2015 accordingly no entry and Postal Seal was given on my Pass
Book.
c) On January 23 rd I have claimed three months Interest but unfortunately I was informed that
the payment of Nov.15 and Dec.15 is already made and I was refused to pay two months
interest though there was no entry and PO Seal of payment on my Pass Book.
d) As per Ref. 2) I have given written representation to Postmaster to pay my two months
interests
e) As per Ref.3) the Postmaster replied that I have already withdrawn my payment on
16.11.2015 and 16.12.2015 as per their office Record which is totally baseless and false
f) Again as per Ref.4) I have given written representations to the Post master but no reply has yet
been received.
g) I have contacted Mr Gopal Babu another senior Staff of Bhatpara Post Office being
sympathetic he searched Post office Computer but could not find any payment record there.
h) I have requested the Postmaster to show my Withdrawal Slip on which I have drawn my
payment, the Postmaster refused to show and it is stated that all the withdrawal Slips are
retained at Barrackpore Divisional Post Office.
i) Sir, if it is true that somebody has withdrawn my two months interest by signing withdrawal slip
he must have done by forgery with help of Postmaster Of Bhatpara Post Office.
j) If no action is taken to pay my two months interest I will have no alternate but to lodge a FIR
at Bhatpara Police Investigation Center Against Postmaster, Bhatpara for subsequent legal action.
Hope your good self will look into the matter to avoid any future discrepancies.
Thanking You,

Dated 30.04.2016 Yours faithfully,

( KOUSHIK MONDAL)
