I am a TATA DOCOMO customer using the TATA PHOTON PLUS wireless broadband product for last few years , The details of which are provided below.
Tarif Plan: HSIA 5GB for 950 Capping Plan.

1. Due to certain frequent problems with the service and malfunction of my TATA PHOTON Device , I decided to cancel my earlier subscription, however due to immediate requirements I decided to Renew the earlier requirements leading to the following
1.1 Cancellation of my earlier subscription the details of which are provided above.
1.2 Purchase of a New TATA PHOTON PLUS Device .
1.3 New Tariff Plan as :

1.4 Last bill of the disconnected account of INR 1053 Due at 04/07/2012, Which I was planning to pay before due date as I am a working person and time is of essence.
1.1 I received the new connection and New Module and It was working well for 2DAYS since the date of receipt of NEW PHOTON PLUS DEVICE.
1.2 On the Third day (18/06/2012) I receive a “ Remote computer did not respond, Unable to connect” Message.
1.3 I try to approach the Call Center through IVRS and after a brutal try for a period of 50 Min which included waiting 30 min for a customer care executive to pick his phone , I was unable to find any response.
1.4 Thinking it to be a temporary glitch, I tried to connect the device next morning but unfortunately had the same result. That night I again tried to contact the call center and this time I was LUCKY!!.
1.5 It was this time I was informed that my outstanding was due of my last connection and that my service is temporarily suspended. Of all the welcome letters and Phone calls I receive from TATA DOCOMO , this is the first time I am intimated of the problem that too on my own concern!!
1.6 I approached the nearest TATA DOCOMO Store ( Salt Lake – City Center, from where I pay my bills and received my device connection), They too told me that I need to clear my earlier bills ( as told on store visit on evening of 22/06/2012) and only after that they can remove the suspension.
MY QUESTION IS
1. WHEN I DISCONNECTED MY EARLIER SERVICE WHY WAS NOT I TOLD THAT I NEED TO CLEAR MY EARLIER BILLS TO AVAIL MY NEW CONNECTION AS THIS WOULD HAVE SAVED ME FROM HECTIC REVISITS TO THE STORE AS I HAVE IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO WITH MY TIME !!
2. WHY WAS I ALLOWED TO AVAIL A TWO DAY SUBSCRIPTION AND SUDDENLY DISCONNECT SERVICES ON 18/06/2012 FOR BILL AMOUNT DUE ON 04/07/2012 ? IS IT NOT THE CHEATING!!
3. OF ALL THE CALLS I RECEIVED FROM THE CALL CENTERS AND POSTAL RECIEPT OF WELCOME LETTERS NOT ONE MENTION OF THIS PROBLEM ?? EVEN ON 23/06/2012 AT 1:30 PM I RECEIVED A CALL FROM TATA DOCOMO ABOUT “ATTRACTIVE OFFERS” . BY THAT TIME I AM AWARE OF THE PROBLEM BUT STILL NO MENTION OF THE PROBLEM ON PART OF TATA DOCOMO.
4. FOR THE DEFICIENCY OF SERVICE AT THE END OF TATA DOCOMO CAN THE AUTHORITY MEKE GOOD OF DAMAGE CAUSED TO ME FOR THE CARELESSNESS AT THE END OF SERVICE PROVIDER ?
I will be paying the said amount through Cheque, the only request here being, PLEASE LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND SAVE CUSTOMERS FROM HARRASMENT AND PROVIDE ME AN EARLY RESPONSE TO MY MAIL ID [email protected]
