Name of company/service: Tikona Digital Networks
I had applied a new wire line broadband connection from tikona on 28th July’2012 and also paid the cash amount of Rs.3000/-. i was told that within 3 days the installation will be done. But still today i.e. 4-Aug-2012, the installation is not done. I had called their customer care multiple times but they keep saying me that it will take more 1 or 2 days.
So i told them to cancel my application and refund my money. On this also they said there will be deduction of rs.500/- because i am cancelling due to technical issues. When the installation is only not done, i wonder how will i face technical issues. I even wrote a complaint mail to their customer care & the head Mr.Sunil Nair ([email protected]) on 2-aug-2012. But still today i have not received any reply.
I had also read their terms & condition about cancellation of services which read as below:-
“Exit Policy: In case subscriber chooses to discontinue after signing the SRF,
But prior to service being provisioned due to inability of Service Provider / Company to deliver service within agreed period, no charges will be levied to the subscriber.(Standard delivery period is 7 days from the date of clearance of the cheque; paid towards subscription charges.)”
If they have set the policy only to refund the full amount in case the installation in not provided in give timeline, how can they not feel shame to say that i’ll have to bare a deduction of rs.500/-.
I request you to please help me to sort this issue with tikona and take the necessary step ahead.
Please have a serious look into this and hope for positives from your side.
