Dear Sir,
This is to kindly bring to your notice that i am holding an Aviva safeguard policy of the policy number – SAG2607683.
I have paid my premiun regularly for last three years. However, just as i have submitted for the premium discontinuation form last month as per the policy terms, i am sent a text message by Aviva that my policy is autoforeclosed.
I am disappointed that i am not informed about any such decision by the company beforehand and as i submitted the form my policy is terminated.
I want to discontinue the premium but want to continue the poliocy for the full tenure asper the terms agreed with the company in their policy documents.

I request your intervention to address the issue and help me out with the solution.

    We understand from your complaint that your policy has been Auto-fore closed without intimation and you want clarification regarding the auto foreclosure status of the policy. We would like to bring to your notice that the policy status changes into an auto foreclosure when the policy surrender value becomes equivalent to the one year premium payment. This happens due to deduction of charges. The first year premium of your policy was Rs 25000, so the policy status got auto foreclosed once the surrender value of the policy became equivalent to the first year premium which is mentioned in the policy documents.

    We have mailed you the details. If you wish to reinstate the policy, you may get it touch with any of your nearest Aviva branch for reinstatement requirement.
