Hi,my name is Firoz darwesh and i stay in panvel.In May,2012.i made an request at Idea’s new Panvel gallery to Port my Prepaid Reliance Number 9004242820,to Idea Postpaid.I specially told the executive at the counter to activate my gprs add on plan,which cost 98/-inr in the plan and he assured me it will be done.After a wait for 14 days my card was activated without verification and being in impression of my gprs add on pack i deliberately used internet on my mobile.to my shock my number was disconnected from the service after 2 days..i visited the gallery and said the executive about my issue….he shocked me once again by saying that i have to pay the bill as my account shows unamounted bill of 1200/-.I told them that i hardly used my number for 2 days as its been discontinued from the service.the executive just said that i pay the bill and it will be activated again…I marked several emails to Idea Cellular and made several visits to Idea gallery….but i didnt get any positive feedback….after a long duration of mental harrasment finally my number was activated but i couldnt use the net on it and once again it was discontinued from the service in 2 days…i made one more visit to the gallery and once again the executive told me to pay the bill….now i emailed my query to Idea cellular several times….that if the mistake is done by their executive then why a common man is beeing harrased to pay the bill for for not using it.When i emailed Idea for Deport my number back…i got a reply that i have to keep it for 3 months minimum in Idea.
I am really sorry to say that it is a very bad impression of such a big cellular company in Indian market.I request u to either settle my account to zero and activate my number or pls deport it with immediate effect….i no longer want to continue Idea service…..
