I was charged a price more than the MRP at this restaurant. I ordered two Pepsi bottles while having dinner on 23rd February. when the bill arrived I was amazed to see a bill of RS. 260(130 per unit) for Pepsi. I checked the bottle for the MRP and the rate mentioned was Rs. 34.When i Enquired about it with them they gave a very lame response in saying that it’s a general norm and practised everywhere but it is a straight violation of Legal Metrology(Packaged commodities) Rules 2011. Please Provide me with a proper redressal against this unfair trade practise.
