OverCharging & Not given Warranty Card, Instruction Manual & receipt of Installation.

Greetings,

On 17/6/2012 we bought one 1Tr Window Air Conditioner of your company i.e. ONIDA. The model is W12TRD2 and the Sr. No. is 3759.

This AC was bought from your Dealer M/s Thukral Time Centre (P) Ltd., located at B-39-A, Main Road, Kalkaji, New Delhi – 110019 vide their Bill No. 15474 dated 17.6.2012 in the name of Shri S.P.Pasricha.

We had a horrible experience buying the product.

At first instance we were told that Rs. 500/- would be charged towards the installation of the AC which we agreed to pay. The box was delivered but the person for installation turned very late. And abruptly he said that he will charge Rs. 1000/- as more material is required for installation. We had no choice but to agree to his demand as the installation was very important for my aged mother. Above this he neither gave any receipt or installation certificate which other companies viz. LG, Samsung gives and their charges are clearly written.

Secondly on opening the box, the instruction book, warranty card and remote control was found missing. The person said that next day it will be delivered. But next day we kept on calling the showroom and they just kept my parents waiting that the case has been reported to Manufacturer and will deliver soon. In the evening, my Father went to their showroom and he told that it will be delivered by 7.00 PM. But no one turned up. Next day being OFF nothing could be done. Yesterday, with repeated follow-ups no one turned up till 4.00 pm. Then I sent one of my boy from my office. He was kept waiting for more than two hours and was given the remote only. As per dealer they had not received it from the company and this he is giving from another packing.

It is requested to kindly look into the matter and arrange to send us the Installation Receipt/Certificate, Instruction Booklet and Warranty Card immediately and resolve the matter.
