Not taking back product according to exchange policy

I want to lodge a complaint against BATA – Kundalahalli Gate Cross.I purchased a footware worth 699

It was purchased on 10th JUne, I wore it for half an hour on 11th and my leg twisted 3 times, it seems to be defective. I went to return it on 12th and they said they will not take it back as the sole is damaged. There is hardly anything that can be seen.

Is BATA saying that the quality of their product is only for half an hour and the sole gets damaged or it was already damaged when it was sold to me. Please let me know how to proceed with this as it is pure cheating . As per the BILL this has a 15days exchange policy and a warranty upto 60days.
