Dear Sir, I had paid Rs. 18,500/- via debit card as initial payment towards purchase of an LG air-conditioner LSA5TR3P. The balance to be paid on EMI basis. The product delivered at my residence was packed in a different carton of another model number. Furthermore it was not sealed. The delivery was taken by my sister. On returning home, when we checked it was found that the AC had scratches on it. The portion of the AC that fits onto the wall was dirty. The following day, we went to the showroom with pictures clicked on our camera to show them. They immediately agreed that they had sent us a showroom piece without our approval and it was their mistake, hence they would cancel the order. We agreed as on NO condition could we accept an old dirty AC.
On calling up the Consumer Forum, I was advised not to release the AC until I get my money refunded.
Though they promised that in 7-1O working days the money [Rs. 185OO/-] would be refunded into our bank account it has not been done. Today, makes 12 days. On several calls the employees have been uncooperative.
I will appreciate if the forum could assist me in retrieving my money.
