non receiept of maturity amount of policy no.330762458 since 06-03-2012

Location/place: Visakhapatnam

Name of company/service: LIC Of India

This is to inform you that I took the policy no.330762458 on 06-03-2002 for a period of 10 years which has matured on 06-03-2012. Since then several correspondence has been made with the branch manager of Pashchim Vihar branch – New Delhi of LIC India. They never bothered to reply to my letters and mails. My last letter dated 05-06-2012 enclosing there with the original policy bond duly discharged along with form of receipt for the surrender value of the policy and my option letter dated 12-09-2011. Till date I have not received my maturity amount of Rs.1,25,467. All most more than four months period has elapsed and I have lost interest more than Rs. 4000/- . I have sent several reminders but no response from them.
I am now vexed with the attitude of the branch Manager of Paschim Vihar Branch, New Delhi and requesting you to help me to get my money back.
I have opted to withdraw from pension option and the option was sent to the branch well before the maturity date as advised by the branch. My option letter was sent on 12th Sept. 2011 which was acknowledged by the branch vide their letter No. NIL dt. 15-10-2011. The copy of the letter was enclosed by them with their letter no. NIL dt. 26-05-2012. Their letter dt. 15-10-2011 was not received by me. I only came to know when the copy of the letter was enclosed with their letter dt. 26-05-2012
Now they are advising me to give the pension option only.
I wrote to them that I want to withdraw my amount and do not want to draw pension. My option was sent well before the maturity date which was acknowledged by the branch. Hence I feel that I am not in fault. I have already surrendered my policy. But the branch is not responding. There are two telephone numbers mentioned in their letter. they are 25263133 & 25263134. But no body lifts the phone. Today from LIC , Visakhapatnam office Mr. Swamy , P.S. to Sr. Div. Manager also tried to contact in those numbers. But the result is same. No body is lifting the phone.
I request your good self to look into the matter and kindly arrange to refund my hard earned money which was deposited in your organisation for the last 10 years. The arrogant attitude of Paschim vihar branch , New Delhi is not acceptable to the customers. Now I request you to arrange for refund of maturity amount of Rs. 1,25,467 along with delayed period interest and help a Senior citizen without without creating mental agony.
I hope that I shall get back my money into my account without further delay. My bank account details are as follows:
Bank name : State bank of Hyderabad
Branch name: Habsiguda branch, Hyderabad
Address: Uppal-Tarnaka main road, Habsiguda, Hyderabad – 500007, A.P.
Telephone number of the Bank : 040-27170229, 27170142
Account No. 52042737062
IFSC Code : SBHY0020087
the above bank details along with a cancelled Cheque was already sent to the branch along with my letter dt. 12-09-2011 as advised by the branch which was acknowledged by the branch.
The branch is forcing me to give option for pension which I do not want.
The way the branch is treating the customer, is not at all tolerable.
The original policy bond was was sent to the branch vide speed post receipt no. EN592023803IN dt. 08-06-2012.
They can not with hold my money for 4 to 5 months and they are liable to pay interest for the delayed period.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully
