I have booked a Meru Cab for pick up at Bandra East and drop at Prabhadevi for 16:55 today and have received a confirmation of cab request SMS for the same – booking no. being 13658372. They were to send me cab details 20 min prior to pick up yet, none has come in even 15 min after the agreed pick up time lapsed.
Moreover, when I called the company, all the call center executive did was state that the booking id is an acceptance of the cab request and not a confirmation of cab allotted. Even if this were true, is it not the job of the cab company to provide details on non availability of pick up? How is a passenger supposed to manage alternate transportation in such a short notice!?
I am extremely upset with Meru Cabs and would like them to be made accountable for their commitments
