I purchsed a nokia handset (Nokia 500 IMEI No-3516800582303554) on 27 May 2012. From day one the set was having blurred screen, I kept using it as I am not very much updated with cell phones, but the screen went off completely on 28 June 2012.
Due to unavailability of time, I could not visit Nokia care, when yesterday(11 July 2012) I visited nokia care, they told that some liquid (NOT WATER) went inside due to which IC has gone, and to get it corrected I have to pay 2500 rs.
Their customer support is really ridiculous, they kept me on hold for 15min, and after that juat started discussing the company policies with me that it is not covered under warrenty, which I had clearly read in the booklet.
They has also promised a call back within 24 hours, which never I got.
The non functionality of the device is solely due to some of Nokia manufacturing defect, and I am not liable for it.
Kindly get it corrected, and I will not pay a penny for it.
