No response by customer care on my grievance

Name of company/service: Idea Cellular Ltd

Idea cellular ltd launched a yearly plan of rs.997 for central government employees in the year 2009.

According to the plan employees were entitled for the following benefits

local idea to idea calls – 10 paise
local idea to other network calls – 30 paise
sms charges – 30 paise/Sms
and rs.400 was available as balance

however, after completion of 1 year I was not able to find rs.997 recharge anywhere. Contacted customer care, idea gallery and many other retailers but none of them knew of the plan. I DID it through netbanking and it worked fine. This year too I DID rs. 997 online recharge for the sim(9702398591)but the rs.400 balance was not credited while the other services got activated.

I contacted customer care, talked to seniors there but none was aware of the plan. I even emailed the grievance to customercare email ID ([email protected]) on nov 11,2012 but I have yet not received response for the same.

My grievance is how come a plan launched for central government employees is not known to any one in idea cellular ltd. Even if it is discontinued for some reasons the records for the same should exist in the database. Speaking legally if the audits of year 2009,2010,2011 are happened to be verified those details would exists.

Either refund rs.997 and formally announce that the plan is discontinued or credit the rs.400 balance as promised by the scheme to 9702398591
