I had purchased an 1.50 T Window AC Model No.RAT518ESD from Vijay Sales, Dwarka 9.6.12. It was installed by the company on the 10th of the month. I used the AC for the first time on July 1st and with the unit working for only a coule of hours it stopped. I made a complaint with the company on July 2nd vide their complaint No.12070200199 and was informed that the same would be redressed within next 48 hours. This did not happen and therefater I kept on calling them and sought to speak to their senior officer, but was not allowed. I made a written complaint on their mail and in response received a reply that it would be looked into. Thereafter a engineer came on the 6th and inspected the unit and said that one of its part namely PCB had concked off and would be replaced. I was in the evening informed that since my machine was new and will be replaced. Since then another week has passed by and I have no information about the replacement being affected. Today it is more than 10 days since I have lodged the first Complaint. I would like to seek compensation from the Company for the harrasment met with me after having pruchased the AC.
