Dear Sir/Madam,
This is to inform you that citibank credit card interest charge calculation are not as per RBI rules or any other credit cards standards.
I am holding a citibank credit card for the past 5 years and last month I am shocked to see the interest charge they levied has come extremely high and after sending 20-30 emails asking for explanation they reversed the interest charge and service tax for the month of May 2012 without giving proper explanation for my query.
For a total outstanding of Rs 19,328 they have levied a minim amount due of Rs 2031 when m husband who is holding a hdfc credit card just pays Rs 900 for total outstanding of Rs 21000.
When I have asked explanation for it, they sent contradictory emails initially saying interest charge some rubbish calculation and finally told late payment has been charged.When I fought for it, they agreed laate payment was not charged as I paid partial amount or minimum due before due date.
What should I understand from all their explanations,I want you to pay attention to this query without any delay.
