Misguiding customers

Dear Team,

I had order two sarees from Fashion and You and on the site they claimed those sarees to be in georgette facbric. On the delivery of the product, however I found that the sarees were not of the fabric that the site claimed they were. I therefore returned the sarees and got a store credit of INR 1698. On Aug 23, 2012 I ordered a saree worth 999 from the same store out of the store credit of INR 1698 that had been given to me in return of the faulty sarees I had returned. But to my utter surprsie the store credit became 0 though the remaining store credit should have been INR 699. On calling the customer care of Fashion & You I was informed that the store credit had to be used in one go. But this had nowhere been mentioned in the store credit e-mail or SMS that was sent to me. But they claimed that since it was there in the T&C on the site they would not return my INR 699 store credit. They suggested that I cancel the order of the saree that I had ordered for INR 999 after which they will push back the whol credit of INR 1698 into my account. A few things about which I would like to complain are:
I had been misguided by not being told that the store credit had to be used in one go.
The site claims that an order can be cancelled within 24 hours of being placed but the order of the saree has still not been cancelled since they claim it has been despatched. I had called the customer care in less than 20 hours of ordering the product. Y is that the order has still not been cancelled and my store credit not refunded.
