Misguided and cheated by Honda dealers

My father had booked an Activa on 2.5.2011 from Om Sai Autoworld, Malad-West branch. Despite several requests, my dad was told that due to heavy bookings the delivery will take a year. Considering the brand name and performance of Honda two wheelers, we decided to wait for an year for the delivery and made a booking at Rs 1000.

On 2.2.2012, my dad got a call from the same branch that we can now make a full payment and the get the delivery of the vehicle. My dad made a full payment of Rs 53, 888 on the same day. To be safe, he got a written confirmation from thier sales executive that we will get our bike by June ending . i have signed proofs.

In July first week when my dad went to get the delivery, the sales person in telling us that it will take more time. This time we decided to meet the branch head of Om sai Autoworld. We were shocked to hear this response that “ Aapko gaadi 4 months mein mil jaati agar aapne bank loan ke through liya hota”. I just could not understand if your branch head is a Honda person or a bank intermediary. For extracting some commission this dealer is actually insisting people to go for vehicle loans.

I would like to bring to everyones notice that a purchaser/customer has all rights to decide if he/she would like to go for a full payment or a loan. I can even go for an insurer of my choice. The dealer cannot force anyone to go with his tie-up. I need not compulsorily go with the choice of the dealer. I know many customers from the same dealer who had made bookings after me and have already got their vehicle just because they decided to go for a bank loan.
I need a justification from Honda for this. They do not have any monitoring process in place, where in they check how thier dealers are misleading and troubling customers. Such dealers are ruining the Honda brand name for some margins/commissions.

I had put a mail to Mr. Rishi Mishra (Executive, West region of Honda two wheelers), seeking immediate action and response to my query. Unfortunately, i havent yet received any revert from their end.

I have realized that Honda is the most unprofessional two wheeler operator in the country. The company does not have any customer support service.
