Hello Sir/Madam,
I Umar K, resident of Bangalore purchased a Post paid Data Card MDN No.:8694830903 on March 17, 2012. The speed of Data Card promised was 3.1 MBPS while it would hardly touch even 1 MBPS(which is one third of the promised speed).
I had informed the customer care team more than thrice over the phone regarding this issue, but it was not addressed. I mailed the Nodal Office in Bangalore stating the issue for which I got a response stating that due to technical issues I have a low HSPA in my Datacard.
I had stopped using it by April 23, 2012. Later I started receiving calls for bill payment everyday. After a lot of pursuance, the retention team mailed me asking for bill payment for which I have responded thrice and I have not received any response, until Saturday, August 25, 2012. On the same day, I received calls from MTS threatening and asking me to pay Rs 25,000 for defaulting the payment, which was totally uncalled for. Can’t explain the mental stress that I suffered.
I request the concerned authorities to look into this matter and take the necessary actions.
I can produce the mail interactions with MTS as evidence and for clear understanding of the case.
Please let me know the further steps.
