I am insured with a personal mediclaim with Oriental Insurance company, the TPA for which is Vipul Medcorp TPA Private Ltd.
Initially the sum insured was Rs. 75,000. However, during the period 2010-2011,
the Sum Insured was enhanced to 1 Lacks. The card number for the plicy member is 0420010002937103.
It has been noted that for all claims that i mae for the insured, the company cites one and other reasons
and denies me the claim of 1 lac. Earlier they mentioned that for pre existing
diseases, there is a holding period of 2 yrs, and even after that period, they are rejecting the claims for the enhanced amount.
I had a talk with the chief officer, Claims department regarding the same, Mr. Abu Salim. He is also unaware of the exact rules and regulations
misguiding and harrasing me time and again. Closely related to this is Dr. S Das, eho is the associated doctor with the TPA who also knows nothing.
In relation to the above reason, I would request you kindly lodge this complain so that I get justice for the money I have spent in terms of the premium amount paid.
