Name of company/service: Transdaksh Movers& packers AND Bluedart
I had sent a refrigerator from Bangalore to Bhubaneswar through Transdaksh Movers & packers 59/82 13 c Cross Venkatapura Extension Teachers Colony Bangalore 34 on 20.5.2011. they charged me Rs 4100 for the same vide consignment note and bill number 1419 dated 20.5.2011. I was promised that the delivery shall be done on 27th May. When it was not done till 28th I called up Transdaksh and they gave me the telephone number of one Mr. Tushar of Blue dart as they send all their consignments through Bluedart.
Mr. Tushar assured me that the delivery would be done on 30th. Finally the delivery was done on 31st and on opening the packing the refrigerator was found to have multiple dents and the stand was completely broken.
When I called Transdaksh they said it was the responsibility of Bluedart and on calling Mr. Tushar I was told that it is the responsibilty of Transdaksh.
Mr. Tushar also behaved very iresponsibly and had the audacity to say that nothing will happen if you go to the consumer forum.
I demand immediate intervention and compensation for the damage from Transdaksh and bluedart.
