I,Rajendra Singh,would like to bring to your kind notice about the fraudelent activities of Indian Health Organisation and the public cheated by IHO. I got a call from one of thier sales executive in april promoting thier product to me which at that was introduced as a “MEDICLAIM POLICY ” to me . As at that time was I was looking for an insurance policy i inquired further about the same , from tim e and again I was told by thier executive that its a mediclaim policy . I was then told that one of thier executives would shortly get in touch with me to explain me further about the company and the policy . On 29th May ’12 I got a call from thier executive and very specifically asked them if I had to get a knee replacement surgery done for my wife would i be able to claim for it , I was assured by thier executive that I would be able to claim for the same however since I am a new member I would get only 75% of the expenses . I agreed to it and Rs 7500/- was deducted from my credit card and a kit with discounted brouchers and a membership card was sent to me . In june as I decided to get my wife operated i called them bak to enquire about the list of hospitals that they have association with , this time however I was taken by surprise as thier executive flatly refused about the mediclaim policy and instead informed me that this is merely a “PREVENTIVE HEALTH CARE KIT ” and that as a member I can only avail of discounts for medical tests done in the clinics associated with them . I tried arguing with them but it was of no use as thier executive kept paroting the same statements , I then told him that I would like to cancel my policy as I am not gettin the benefits that were promised to me . I was asked to send an email to thier ID and was told that on recieving the e-mail my request would be processed and the refund would be given after few deductions . As instructed by thier executive a mail was sent and the wait for thier response began . On 25th Aug ’12 , I got a call from thier manager who clearly refused to refund the money , after about an hour of arguing with him he finally accepted that the first call that was made to me was done from thier sales team which at that was outsourced and as they were givin wrong information to people about the policy and hence they had been fired . however even after accepting that it was a mistake on thier part they still cannot give me a refund . I would request you to take some action against fradulent companies like these and help me getting my refund from them
