I bought an IFB Digital 5.5 kg Front loading washing machine on 10-th october 2009. Last week the machine started to Make A huge noise while drying.I had complained to IFB on the november ’09. An IFB mechanic visited our house and told us that the pcb got damaged and will have to replaced. Since then I have made several calLs to find the status of my complaint and each time I am told it will be done the next day.The IFB customer care (39004321) asked me to speak to office (emmanuel -044-22316313 he also promised to get it repaired the next day just like the others did ! but finally pcb got replace ,after one month again the problem started As usual no one turned up to repair the machine. again serivice people came and repaired , again problem acured i have told the chandra traders the whom i purchased the washing maching ,again the service people and rectified ,again finally the washing get halted on may IST week and ifb came after second week and informed us that main motor got burned so it will take some time replace .finally we dont have a conclusion and we dumped the washing at chandra traders where we pruchase the washing machine. as of today either we didnt get any machine till date.after complaining to the website we recvd call from this nos 0091-9381086792 name called THIRUVANAN IFB incharge he said we will revert back to me within 3 days but almost one half month i got a call from stating his manager is busy and revert back to me next day.but till now either he attending my call or any response from him.
FB HAS THE WORST SERVICE STANDARDS I HAVE EVER SEEN. I AM NOW WRITING A COMPLAINT TO THE CONSUMER COURT TO DEMAND A REFUND OF MY MONEY / REPLACEMENT OF THIS FAULTY MACHINE WITH A NEW MACHINE. IFB SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF thieR SERVICE QUALITY. they CHARGE EXORBITANT PRICES FOR A PRODUCT THAT NOT EVEN WORTH 1/4 TH ITS PRICE. I AM ALSO MARKING A COPY OF THIS MAIL TO consumer forum and world protect right 18 SO THAT they GET THE REQUIRED PUBLICITY.
