    Dear Friend,
Studying I.E.T.E Course is truly waste of money and time.
It seems very difficult to get Admission for higher studies using this IETE Certificate.

    dear frnd,

in my opinion iete is totally 0 as far as foreign jobs & also if you are trying to study abroad.
i ve done degree amiete from iete
i cleared an interview for job in canada but my visa got rejected due to iete & reason is that it is not aicte approved.
engineers from amie doesnt have any problem as amie is aicte approved
also in top industries in india says no to iete but amie engineers are given pref.
after completing iete we have to go to amie & get exemption of all subjects and get another degree from amie
so that we can get aicte approved degree
    this costs about 45000 extra
its better iete should have aicte approval
if amie can have why cant iete then

I have AMIETE qualification, and I am engineer in Ericsson. Who says IETE graduates do not get jobs in good companies. IETE is far better than fraud and third rated engineering colleges of India.

  17. I have completed DIPITE CS from IETE in 2009, And right now I am Sr Manager is USA Based IT Company. After completed my DIPIETE I have total 8 years experience in IT Field. I Face many interviews in this time period and nobody can told me that your course is not approved by AICTE. IETE is approved by Government of INDIA.
And also students of my batch (2009) is working in Reputed company like TCS,…. etc.
So just increase your knowledge and dont waste time to make difference B/N IETE & AICTE.

  18. IETE passout students can apply for both private & Govt. jobs as all professional Institutions like IE, IETE recognised by MHRD, Govt. of India. In recent Govt jobs Advertisements in Indian Airforce, BHEL, BEL, ONGC, CRPF, IETE passout also given preferrences. Where MHRD approval is there so no need for approval AICTE. Besides these recently AICTE have published a public notification regurding this issue. The mode of study for AMIETE and DipIETE courses is to be considered as “Blended Mode” which as per AICTE notification F.No.37-3/Legal/AICTE/2103 dated 27.06.13 is stated as below and matches exactly with the IETE AMIETE and DipIETE courses structure:

  21. Hi Guys, I am IETE passed out of 2003 batch. Thanks to such Institutions in India who building our career despite of financial races, also ensuring better Technical Education which helps in building our Nation. These Education system are very tough and have result 5 to 10%., therefore to pass the estimation handwork needed and curriculum provides sound knowledge & develop skill.
Presently I am a telecom professional with 17 year’s experience and worked in TTSL, Ericsson, Uninor & Vodafone Idea (at present). I don’t find any challenges regarding the Degree & Recognition . I also completed MBA from Suresh Gyan Vihar University.
In recent past, some of the companies where I had applied rejects by candidature saying your degree is non-regular. But when I checked through “Linked In” I found employees are working with IETE & AMIE degree in their company. I can say this is a matter of chance, as the HR guy you are in contact for candidatureship is not appreciating your efforts.

Nutshell, My suggestion if someone want to get Technical education and not have sufficient fund, must go with such institutions. I think it is more worthy than normal graduation.
