I took a postpaid internet connection on 6th or 7th June. I exactly did not remember the date. While taking the connection, I have been told the total cost is Rs 950, for 6 GB unlimited plan. First bill came after 20 days as customer care executive told me that the billing date is 21st of every month. For first month I got of billing of around Rs 750.00. For the next month, I got a full month’s billing of Rs 1067.00. When I contacted airtel, executive is telling that service tax of 12% and some other tax of 2% is applicable. I did not find anything written in Airtel website. I requested them to wave this tax as I have not been informed. i called repeatedly to customer care and every time I need to start from the beginning. Still I did not receive any call from Airtel for the same. Please help me to know the fact.
