1. I had purchased A3 size printer HP Officejet K 7108 from Mr. Manoj Garg, M/s Satsheel Computers Pvt. Ltd, Delhi in November 2009; and it is still in the warranty period. The Product Serial No. was MY961410XT.
2. We have been encountering problems in the usage of printer from very early on; and we had filed complaints earlier. The complaint in reference is Case no 8039218612,FILED ON 06.02.2010 wherein the printer had stopped printing. This same problem had been reported very shortly before earlier as well, and was resolved.
3. The case under reference was referred to M/s RT outsourcing Services Ltd, Ghaziabad, and a technician visited the site on the June 02, 2010. It was intimated that the printer shall have to be replaced.
4. It was replaced the same day by a printer which it was informed was a conditioned/refurbished printer. This printer was installed in my absence and it bears the date Aug 01, 2007.
This provided printer is not acceptable at all as it is a very old printer (3 yrs.), practically considered to have exhausted its useful life.
We have escalated the matter, as advised by the company; and have also emailed to Mr. Gaurav Jaitly, apparently heading the operations in the North; but am either not receiving a response or negative response.
They sent us a warranty policy which also stipulates refund of money. We emailed for a clear response whether that was a possibility, since the 2007 printer is not acceptable – but am yet to receive any response.
AFTER THIS PATIENT FOLLOWING UP OF THE CASE AT A TREMENDOUS COST TO OUR PROFESSIONAL WORK & CONSIDERABLE MENTAL AGONY, IT APPEARS THAT THIS REPUTED COMPANY HEWLETT PACKARD HP IS A SHAM IN TERMS OF PROVIDING & EXECUTING ITS WARRANTY POLICY.
