Name of company/service: Agarwal Packers & Movers (DRS Group)
I have used the services of Agarwal Packers & Movers (DRS Group) for relocation of my household goods / items from Sector 31, Gurgaon to Goregaon, Mumbai.
The goods were packed and loaded (G. C No. 4232547 dated 06.04.2012) from Gurgaon on 06.04.2012 and reached Mumbai on 10.04.2012 and I had adviced them for their warehousing facilities till I obtain an accommodation in Mumbai. Accordingly on 16.05.2012 I took the delivery of my goods at my new rented accommodation at Ram Mandir Road, Goregaon (W), Mumbai.
On opening of the packing most of the goods were found damaged and the person incharge (Mr. Rajesh) told me that their Claims dept would resolve it within a week’s time after survey which would be done the next day. However to my surprise and misfortune till date (15.06.2012) they have not yet bothered to resolve this.
Following are the damages caused.
There were lot of damages to my household items, some are listed hereunder.
1. IFB Washing machine body colour changed. As per IFB officials, the goods were not stored under shed that’s why the body colour has changed.
2. Table Top wet grinder damaged and cannot be repaired as per the M/s. Laxmi grinders, Coimbatore.
3. Cycle damaged – Alignment lost, colour removed, chain elongated, etc.
4. Study table broken, side portion given way, all attachments damaged.
5. 1 new Bucket broken and damaged.
6. 1 No. dust bin broken and damaged.
7. 2 Nos. Cot (6’ x 3’) having lots of scratches and also laminates have come off.
8. Some quantity of rice has been stolen from the baggage of rice.
9. 1 No. broom stolen / missing.
10. Study table chair : All bolting, screws lost, seat base detached from the legs.
I have not yet unpacked my sofa (3+1+1) and Glass top center table.
I request your immediate intervention in this matter and book these service providers.
