Harassment in approval of Motor Insurance Claim by officials of IFFCO-TOKIO

Location/place: New Delhi

Dear sir,
I’ve bought a new car Dtd 09/06/2011 volkswagen polo REGD. No. DL 3CBV 327 0and got insurance wide policy cover note no. 72236420 from IFFCO – TOKIO assured of better Services by Marketing Executive from the Insurance Company .My Car had a Road accident on DTd. 17th April 2012 and The Claim was Registered immediately wide claim no. 035062012 . Since the Day of claim the officials are used to harass me .when i supplied every document to them . my claim has not been settled till today .and the workshop manager of volkswagen had informed me that they will take 4-5 months to repair my vehicle. i have to use taxi on rent every day from my residence to greater noida which is 65km far away from my residence to attend my college. i m very depressed and had a big grievances with Insurance Company.

Without any reason, the above officials used to delay more than 8-9 months till to handover my vehicle back in working condition. so it is requested to take appropriate action as per consumer rights.
