This complaint is against the un-professional and corrupt services being rendered by Skyway Packers & Movers (Regd No: 881 Service Tax No: ABQFS4802FSD001 Email:[email protected] website:skywaypackers.com)
We shifted our household stuff and Car from Faridabad to Bangalore through Skyway Packers vide bill no 239 (Invoice number 247) in the name of Monika Gupta. Before loading the goods, they confirmed that all goods will be delivered on the date of my choice in the same truck in which they are being loaded from Faridabad. The packing was carried out decently and we had no way of knowing that they would be stealing our goods after they are loaded in their truck.
All the goods were unloaded in a Bangalore warehouse, instead of directly delivering them to us, as earlier promised. The goods eventually delivered were in a deplorable state. All cartons were torn and some of the stuff was damaged beyond repair. A carton of crockery fell down from the truck in front of my eyes when the truck was parked outside the house, breaking all the crockery inside. At-least five of the cartons had been opened along the way and expensive stuff stolen from them. They were then re-packed and delivered to us. Upon complaining, the agency point blank refused to listen to us.
Besides this, my water purifier is also missing. When we complained and tried to contact the various numbers listed on their bill, there was no response. The only response we got was from the Bangalore warehouse manager Ajay (09342893135). He told us that we should not have insisted on a copy of the insurance cover (despite the fact that we had paid the premium along with their charges). Now that we have asked for it, we are totally on our own. We should go to the insurance company or court to settle the claim and Skyway packers is not concerned about our loss.
I have been running from pillar to post for locating the stolen and missing things but there is absolutely no response. Rajesh (09396707111, 09310087211), Vijay (09342893135) and various other people associated with Skyway are harassing us no end. I am contemplating legal action as there is no other recourse left.
Please think 10 times before availing their services.
