Adhi Vidya Motors, Chennai did not deliver genset after receiving money
We Curve 14 a partnership company had ordered a 24 KVA genset from Adhi Vidya Motors, LINGAM GENSETS, #10, 80 FEET ROAD, SALIGRAMAM, CHENNAI – 600 093. Ph.: 044-2364 3303. The order was placed on 17th Jan through their employee Mr.Hari – Mobile 984283227. We also spoke to Mr.Bala, Executive Director who also confirmed along with Hari that the genset would be delivered by Feb 7th, 2013. We had paid a total amount of rs.2,45,000 towards this. Rs.98,000 on 18th Jan 2013 and rs.1,47,000 on 29th Jan 2013. Unfortunately they did not honour their commitment. They also did not bother to call us and inform of the delay. We had to repeatedly call them everyday to get an update on the genset. Mr.Lingam, Owner of this company has been lying over the date of delivery by giving false promises. Mr.Bala is not picking up our calls and not bothering to return our calls. Ms.Aparna, Coordinator Marketing of this company had told us that we could hire a genset till the new genset arrives and that Adhi Vidya motors will pay this amout. We have not received the genset and neither has the company given us any money to bear cost of hiring new genset. We have lost much business because of the careless attitude of this company. We need to receive the money back with interest and the other expenses we have incurred due to this hardship caused to us. Hope we get justice.
They gave us rs.20, 000 on 28th Feb via bank cash deposit for genset hiring charges. After this they issued a cheque for rs.2, 45, 000 on 9th Mar’13. The cheque did not clear. Then they given rs.1, 50, 000 on towards genset hiring charges on 12th Mar’13 via bank trf / cheque deposit. The settlement amount for the genset of rs.2, 45, 000 has not yet reached us. It is very unfortunate that Adhi VIdya Motor is treating us in this way. We trusted them because they are dealers of Kriloskar Genset.They kept blaming Kriloskar Motors stating that the genset was not dispatched on time. We have lost much of business, time and peach of mind because of the careless attitude of the Adhi Vidya motors. Mr.Lingam, Proprietor and Mr. Bala, Executive Director are not responding to our calls and not ready to meet us. Pls could you help us in recovering the money. We need this to buy a new genset as we are still running the business with hired genset which is costing us a lot. Mr.Lingam and Mr.Bala could have told us in Jan’13 that they cannot deliver the genset. This could have saved us money and time. Now we need to order for new genset.
