Dear Sir,
I got a Gas Connection of HP Gas Company from Parnam Gas Agency, (SCO 338, Sector 37-D, Chandigarh) against consumer no 823679. After 3 or 4 years I have shifted from Sector 37 to Sector 40-B, Chandigarh (rented accommodation) and simultaneously submitted a request to change the my address with Parnam Gas Agency, Sector 37, Chandigarh. They have changed my address accordingly.
But when I went to book my Gas, the company informed me that my Gas service has been stopped. On inquiry from the office, I have come to know that it is company’s rule that two connections in the same house are not permitted. That’s why my Gas service has been stopped.
I submitted a written statement with the Parnam Gas Agency, Sector 37, Chandigarh that I am a tenant in this accommodation along with a rent agreement proof and it is co-incident that my owner also used the same Company Gas. On my request a person from Company verified my statement on 18/4/2012 that I am a tenant in the house no 1004, Sector 40-B, Chandigarh and I have nothing to do with my owner’s affairs. I have only one connection.
I have sent written requests to all concerning authorities. But nobody solve my problem and neither have they guided me what should I do.
