Fraud complaint against Country Club

Hi Sir,

This is regarding the club membership which I availed with Country club vacations. I want to withdraw my membership from Country Club. I have already paid Rs. 25000 and now I want this amount to be credited back to my account.

Issues: I have purchased holiday package for 10 years and 10 years club membership from country vacations club during their promotional event in ‘April 01, 2013’ for Rs. 70,000 and at that time I was given wrong offers (mentioned below) verbally and collected the money Rs. 25000 as initial amount for membership from my HDFC credit card. Firstly, I was not at all interested in joining due to financial problem with me. But their sales executives tempted me with extra offers like two free 6 days/7 nights additional holiday trips (Domestic/ International) which we can avail anytime in the span of these 10 years. I still refused but they persuaded me to pay Rs.70, 000 by cash & got this converted into 36 EMIs. On my still hesitation, they offered as per below:

Total Rs. 25000 pay by cash and they will convert the same amount into 24 installments of (Rs. 1041.66 per month) and the rest amount Rs. 45000 would be paid in installments which I can start paying anytime after 2 years(If I wish to continue after 2 years). On basis of all these commitments & additionally a number of other facilities/ services & benefits, I got ready to join this membership to be provided by Country Vacations Club (as explained to me) during the course of membership.

1st Offer: I was told that these 25000 INR will be deducted in 24 equal monthly installments with 0% processing fee & 0% interest charges. But now I came to know that this amount will be paid in only 18 monthly installments.

2nd Offer: I was also told that if I do not want to continue with Country club membership after payment of 25000 INR, I will still be eligible for two holiday packages of 6N/7D each which I can avail anytime in duration of 4 years from the commencement of membership course. But now I came to know that they lied to me on this as well.

3rd Offer: I was also told that I can visit any of their Clubs with no entry fees & can have fun of indoor games/services, Gym, swimming pool free of cost (only eatables/consumables/SPA etc. are chargeable). But now they say that these services are also chargeable(GYM, Swimming pools etc.).

4th Offer: Regarding AMC paid every year by the members, they also commited me that if I do not go on vacation in a particular year I will not be charged the AMC for that year. But now they say that AMC has to be paid every year irrespective of the usgae. Further, let’s suppose I do not go on vacation on 1st year & in the second year and I add up the number of days together in the third year & split the vacation into two or three different trips in the same year, I will be charged the AMC only once for that year. But, this is not the case in reality as now I have been informed that in such a case I will be charged the AMC as per the total number of trips (i.e. one AMC per trip).

5th Offer: I was told that I will also get discount (40%) on Air tickets booked during the holiday booking for Domestic/International holiday. But this was another wrong commitment.

6th Offer: And also as per my last conversation with one of the members from Country Club Vacations Management named Ranjeet (Based at Country Vacations Club, MZ-44/45, 2nd floor, Centre Stage Mall, Sec-18, Noida-201301, personal contact : 9818267843), I was promised that the Membership fee that I have paid will be refundable if I find this to be dissatisfactory or else the offers that were being offered to us in actual were not being fulfilled.

Lastly I received their Welcome kit including the membership card last week which is clearly showing that this card is valid only till 31st July, 2013 & I will receive permanent membership card only if I pay rest of 45000 INR. That means it is only valid for 3 months.

I am highly dissatisfied with this kind of misguidance I was served with & I want to withdraw my membership from Country Club. I feel that the company is generating funds from general public by virtue of giving false promise and not obliging. I have already paid Rs. 25000 and now I want this amount to be credited back to my account ASAP. Please find below my Membership details for your reference.

    I m from noida .I have small family me, my husband and daughter. By profession we are S/w engineer . Just few month back we took member ship of country club . as per their conversation we paid heavy amount 1,20000 for blue card but they gave us white card even me mentioned on check itself .As they promised to gave air and fair ticket for my family but they but just one person ticket when they deliver kit.They never disclosed for annual feel that is near 10,000 but when u login by user id u get that msg and they call you again and again .Every day calling for pay your annual fee So many times we called them no once picking phones .Executive which involved in this conversation are Shoib and kabir now even they are not bothered to receive phones are responding queries even we send so many mails to higher authority.     Kabir Executive who involved in all this are Kabir , shoib so plz away from these person just for saving their jobs they are making fools to simple people >Visited so many times their office of sector 18 noida they just making fool their target just to take initially amt that is more than 1 lakh and

    Hi,
    I just want to ask you 1 thing…I have no time to read the article body…Just wanted to know if you have made the payment through Credit Card. If so,then send the card dispute form to the respective company with all the proof of payment and then bank will forward them to VISA/Mastercard. Then the investigation will start and if found true the whole amount would be refunded back to the card.

    It is called Chargeback…So you can ask bank to accept your chargeback…in the 90 days investigation period,the will temporaririly refund the amount to the respective card.Once the case is settled,refund will be permanent.

    With reference to several telephonic calls & trailing mails still our issue is not yet solved .

    Mr. Vivek Kumar & Mr Anshuman Tripathi had attended my borther Aliasgar Chunawala they had assured 30 yrs free vacation witghout utility charges and had assured China & Manali Holidays immediate .

    Nothing happened as assured .

    I had recieved call from Ms. Smitta to sort the issue but nothing has happened yet.

    On behalf of above commitments & assurances the anount was recieved in your account but nothing has been fulfilled

    I request to look into the matter & take necessary quick action & sort out my problem

  7. Hello I am Murtuza Chunawala stay at Santacruz Mumbai .
    8 yrs back i wrongly assured for lonavala plot & was later forced to take the membership of country club . Had paid 2,50,0000/-

    Once gaian Mr bro went for the seminar of contry club & was again on wrong assurance paid Rs 85,000/-
    Mr. Vivek Kumar & Mr Anshuman Tripathi had attended my borther Aliasgar Chunawala they had assured 30 yrs free vacation witghout utility charges and had assured China & Manali Holidays immediate .

    Nothing happened as assured .

    Country Club in the name of Marketing team they are giving wrong assuarnace & false statement & take the amount and then thy disappear .

    They dont attend calls & mails

    This is a very serious matter & many innocent middle class families are targetted .
