Respected Sir/Madam,
I purchased an Exide battery (Name – POWER SAFE NXT, Batch No. 4UB, Serial No. 419953, Waranty for 3 years) along with an inverter (Make – Microtek, Model No – UPSEB600, Serial No. 10AGANB409050, Waranty for 2 years) from a shop named M/S D.K. Bose & Co on 17.04.2010. I am facing problem with the set for last 15 days. As I was facing problem, I contacted M/S D.K. Bose & Co. In the first approach, they were not even ready to provide the customer care number of the said companies and somehow, I have collected the customer care phone number and they were reluctant to provide any help regarding the problem. I contacted both the Microtek as well as Exide. After many phone calls to their customer care, the Microtek person came but was unable to solve the problem and left citing battery problem. After that Exide Person came and he told that the battery sold by M/S D.K. Bose & Co is meant for commercial use, but it was sold to me for domestic use and does not have any warranty though I have warranty card of three years. I contacted M/S D.K. Bose & Co immediately over phone and they were not at all ready hear anything and just started abusing. Then I visited the premises of M/S D.K. Bose & Co with the Exide person on 31.03.2012 and the person from M/S D.K. Bose & Co unwillingly stated to look into my problem in this regard. On 02.04.2012, when I again contacted M/S D.K. Bose & Co, they directly refused to do anything and behaved rudely with me. I don’t know whether I am going to get the matter solved. I humbly request you to follow up of the same and a further request to inform such dealers and sub-dealers to teach how they should treat a customer without making a fool of them. I found the behaviour of M/S D.K. Bose & Co is obnoxious and dissatisfactory from the point of providing service to an old customer.
