For replacement of wrongly delivered Philips 5.1 Home Theatre System (HTS3560/51).

Name of company/service: Great Eastern Appliances Pvt. Ltd.

Dear Sir or Madam:

I would like to inform you that I had purchased a Philips Immersive Sound 5.1 Home Theatre System bearing model number HTS3560/51, serial number PT1A1036001221 from Great Eastern Appliances Pvt. Ltd. (102, Diamond Harbour Road, Behala, Kolkata – 700 034, Ph.033 2407 0946 /47) on 17.10.2012 vide cash memo no. BL FCH 2184. While booking the set, the demonstrator Mr. Joy Mukherjee (Mobile no. +919836824965) had shown me the model on the Internet bearing the 3D playback option. But at the time of installation (dated19.10.2012) I found that the product specification (User manual – page no. EN1, Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V., sgpam_1027/51_v1) does not have 3D Playback option as the product was manufactured back dated (Import date – September, 2010) & after searching Internet and discussion over phone with Philips Customer Care, I came to know that the same model no. of Home Theatre System (User manual-page no. EN1, Version: 17.03.2011, Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V., sgpam_1037/51_v2) have 3D Playback option. I reported the problem at the same time over phone & physically visited to the counter sales representative Mr. Mukherjee, but in vain. The above conduct of the sales representative was done with a malafide intention. I had also reported the same to the Customer Relation Manager of Great Eastern Appliances Pvt. Ltd. On 25.10.2012 By e-mail & Fax ([email protected], Fax no.+91 033 2289 5625) but till date I have not received any reply.

I had also lodged complaint at Complaint Board (Great Eastern Appliances Pvt. Ltd.) on 29.10.2012 but unfortunately I had not get a single reply and none any service from them. Recently the dealer (Great Eastern Appliances Pvt. Ltd.) and Philips Service Centre (Behala Branch) are trying to install and update new software, but every thing in vain, no satisfactory result we found. I am scared that the system could be damaged as they are keeping on their R&D on my system.

I, therefore request you to do the needful & also awaiting your valued co-operation in the aforementioned matter.
